Airport pickup is complimentary, but ferry terminal transport is lacking, which is inconvenient with luggage. The older wing of the hotel comes off as somewhat dated. my room felt worn and in need of some sprucing up. Wi-Fi struggles to keep a solid connection, especially during inclement weather, causing unnecessary hassle. Additionally, the public bath hours are too limited in the mornings, closing before breakfast is over, which is frustrating for early risers.

Had a fantastic time at Hotel Yakushima! The ocean view from my Beautiful Twin Room with Sea View was amazing, and the daily kaiseki dinners were delicious. A couple of amenities, like the public bath hours, could use some tweaks, but overall, it was a lovely stay.

The location is ideal just a short walk from the port and bus stops (so convenient for exploring the island) and only minutes away from supermarkets. Breakfast is tasty with a variety of options (loved the banana smoothie! ).
The public bath has limited hours which may frustrate early risers or those looking to unwind after a long day.

I stayed in the Deluxe Double Room with Sea View, NAMIOTO for 2 nights. The view of the ocean and mountains was breathtaking and made the stay worth it. The room was spacious, and the large windows let in so much natural light. It felt really refreshing. The bathroom had a nice setup, and there was even a bathtub where I could look at the sea. No complaints about the comfort level here!
